Prayer for Your Children to Be Blessed

Father, I thank you for my children, stepchildren, adopted children, spiritual children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and commit them to your love and care. Keep drawing them to Yourself until they personally experience Your love, presence, and truth. Show them that Jesus Christ is indeed the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no one comes to You except through Him. Protect them, encourage them, and guide them until we all are living together forever in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Therefore know that the Lord my God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations (to my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, …) with me who loves Him and keeps His commandments. (Deuteronomy 7:9)

For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day, including my children. (2 Timothy 1:12)

I refrain my voice from weeping, and my eyes from tears; for my work (of faith and child-rearing) shall be rewarded, and my children shall come back from the land of the enemy. There is hope in my future, that my children shall come back to their own border (escaping the bondage of the enemy). (Jeremiah 31:16-17)

For the LORD has spoken: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children.” (Isaiah 49:25)
