Prayer for My Career

I place my career into its proper place in my priorities, after God, family, and church. My advancement into the hands of God, so I don’t have to do unethical things for a promotion, but will be honest, faithful, and diligent in my work, keeping a good attitude. I work for my employer as if I worked for the Lord Jesus Christ, and You will grant me favor, promotion, and increase in due season. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Scripture Affirmations

My exaltation comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one and exalts another. As I walk in humility, diligence, and love, He will exalt me in due season. (Psalm 75:6-7)

For You, O Lord, will bless me, the righteous in Christ; With favor You will surround me as with a shield. (Psalm 5:12)

When I find wisdom, I find life and obtain favor from the Lord. (Proverbs 8:35)

I will obey in all things my master (employer) according to the flesh, not just to his face, as a man-pleaser, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. And whatever I do, I will do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord I will receive the reward of the inheritance; for I serve the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:22-24)
