Prayer for Overcoming Fear That Causes Bondage

Father, fear is bondage, and I will not let it isolate me from others. By the authority of Jesus’ name, I rebuke the spirit of fear and break its hold over me. As a new creation in Christ, I am no longer bound by fear of rejection, harm, accidents, failure, lack, sickness, or death. Consequently, I move forward in faith and do new things in spite of fear’s nagging concerns. Fear will hold me back no longer from walking through the doors You open for me. Christ’s power, love, and sound mind free me from the spirit of fear. Most of all, knowing You are with me always gives me confidence. Thank you for freeing me to be the person You created me to be. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
